Location: In Antequera, 50km nrth of Málaga. Follow N331 from Málaga to Antequera. From Malaga before you reach Antequera, turn right towards Sevilla, at the railroad bridge turn left. Signposted.
Open: Al years Tue 16:16-18:30, Wed-Sat 9-14 16:15-18:30, Sun 10-12.
Fee: free, maybe tip for the guide.

Description

The Cueva de Romeral is one of three prehistoric cave tombs at Antequera. It was built around 1800 b.C..

This cave was a surprise for the archaeologists, as it posesses a dome, built in a special technique which is known only from Greece. They speculated about connections to greece 4000 years ago.
