History

Description

This is a huge wine cellar used for the typical things: drinking wine, eating local specialties and wine tasting of course. This cellar is a historic cellar which was never modernized.

Specialties in this cellar are: burcak, which is very young wine, not clear and with a brown colour. Typical Moravian food, which is cold smoked meat, served with sour-sweet gherkins and Moravian cheese. At wine tastings 15 samples of local wines, produced by Znovín Znojmo Winery, may be tasted. This event is only on the last Wednesday each month.
