Kanton Zürich

The canton of Zürich in the northeastern part of the country is named after the city of Zürich. It is not part of the alps, located north of the mountain ridge it is part of the drainage basin of the High Rhine and is characterized by Glacial landforms. It's a series of hills and lakes, the biggest lake is Lake Zürich.
