Description

The Fort de Litroz is only a small part of the extensive fortifications along the south western Swiss border towards the French Département de la Haute Savoie. It was created during decades since the mid 19th century. Each period built its fortifications and together they make the stongest and most complex system od defence fortifications of Switzerland. Two parts, the Fort de Litroz and the CENTI A399 (tourelle de chars Centurion) are open to the public.
