Description

Hamilton's Caves (the plural seems to be intended) is one of the largest cave systems in the Bahamas, named after the nearby settlement Hamilton. As far as we understand it is a series of caves close together. The caves are on the private property of Leonard Cartwright, who offers guided tours. He also provides flashlights. It seems he also guides nearby Mortimers Duho Cave.

The main passage of the cave has the impressive size of 15m wide and 3m high. There were archaeologic remains of the
