Montreal's Underground City is the largest underground complex in the world. The tunnels extend over 32km spread over an area of twelve square kilometres. 60 residential and commercial complexes comprise 3.6km² of floor space. 80% of all office space and 35% of all commercial space in downtown Montreal is located underground.
