| 1910 | Jillabenan Cave discovered by Leo Hoad. |
Jillabenan Cave is the smallest cave at Yarrangobilly. Being only 73m long and with only 20 steps it is ideal for elderly visitors. Said to be one of the richest decorated caves in Australia, it is despite its small size well worth a visit. This is one of the older caves in the area, estimated 2 Million years old, which is a lot of time for the speleothems to grow.
