History

1910 Jillabenan Cave discovered by Leo Hoad.

Description

Jillabenan Cave is the smallest cave at Yarrangobilly. Being only 73 m long and with only 20 steps it is ideal for elderly visitors and for disabled. Said to be one of the richest decorated caves in Australia, it is despite its small size well worth a visit. This is one of the older caves in the area, estimated 2 Million years old, which is a lot of time for the speleothems to grow.

This cave is offered both, on guided and self-guided tours, we were not able
